On the morning of January 21, 2025, Hai Phong Tourism College held a scientific seminar on the topic: "Logistics and Multimedia Communication in the 2025-2026 academic year." The event attracted significant interest from experts, lecturers, businesses, and students.
Attending the seminar were Mr. Dao Manh Dang – Director of HTM Logistics Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hai Phong Newspaper, and Mr. Le Viet Dung - Reporter of Hai Phong Newspaper. Representing Hai Phong Tourism College were Ms. Mai Thi Hue – Vice Principal, who chaired the seminar, along with leaders of departments, heads and deputy heads of specialized faculties, and faculty members.

In her welcoming remarks, Ms. Mai Thi Hue, Vice Principal of the school, highly appreciated the role and position of the Logistics and Multimedia Communication professions in the economy, as well as the commitment to training high-quality human resources for these two fields. For Hai Phong Tourism College, organizing this scientific conference will provide an opportunity for the school to conduct research, serve educational and training purposes, study theory, and enhance research capabilities.
Opening the conference, Mr. Dao Manh Dang, Director of HTM Logistics Joint Stock Company, presented practical perspectives on the needs and development trends of the Logistics industry in the era of integration, while emphasizing the importance of training internationally standardized human resources. Mr. Nguyen Van Hai, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hai Phong Newspaper, shared the role and development prospects of Multimedia Communication, highlighting its potential to create a strong impact in the digital transformation era. The workshop also included presentations by Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, M.Sc., lecturer in the Faculty of Logistics Management and Tourism, entitled: "Solutions for training and developing human resources for the logistics industry in Hai Phong"; and a presentation by Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai, lecturer in the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication, entitled: "Solutions for training communication human resources in the context of digital transformation".

During the workshop, most participants affirmed that the content and curriculum of the Logistics and Multimedia Communication training program at the school fully meet the regulations of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs regarding curriculum development, ensuring the ratio of theoretical and practical training. Furthermore, the curriculum for specialized subjects and modules is closely aligned with practical realities in businesses. Throughout the training process, the school will continue to research, develop, and apply comprehensive solutions to improve and update the content, curriculum, training methods, and scientific research to make the program even more relevant to practice. Regarding the Multimedia Communication training program, guest speakers suggested adding new video editing applications in line with scientific and technological advancements, and investing in modern facilities and equipment to suit current training trends.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Mai Thi Hue, Vice Principal of the school, respectfully thanked the leaders of Hai Phong Newspaper, the leaders of HTM Logistics Joint Stock Company, and all delegates who attended the scientific conference and contributed valuable presentations that identified shortcomings, offered suggestions, recommended solutions, and provided guidance on improving the content and curriculum, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of logistics and multimedia communication vocational training in the current period. She also affirmed that these contributions would be compiled by the conference organizers and sent to the relevant departments for further research and refinement to meet the demands of the work in the new situation.
