Hai Phong Tourism College originated as Hai Phong Vocational Secondary School of Tourism established under Decision No. 334/QĐ-TCDL dated July 23, 2004 of the General Department of Tourism. In December 2007, the school was upgraded to Hai Phong Tourism Vocational College under Decision No. 1875/QĐ-BLĐTBXH dated December 31, 2007.
In May 2009, Hai Phong Vocational College of Tourism was renamed Hai Phong Vocational College of Tourism and Services by Decision No. 593/QĐ-BLĐTBXH dated May 12, 2009 of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. In February 2017, Hai Phong Vocational College of Tourism and Services was renamed Hai Phong College of Tourism by Decision No. 131/QĐ-BLĐTBXH dated February 7, 2017 of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
-Organizational structure and the school’s leadership apparatus:
+ School leadership: Includes the Principal and 02 Vice Principals;
+ Departments and faculties: The school’s organizational apparatus consists of 06 units, including 03 functional offices and 03 specialized training faculties;
+ Party and mass organizations:
+ Communist Party of Vietnam organization: A grassroots Party cell under the Party Committee of the Hai Phong City Agencies bloc, consisting of 47 Party members, meeting in 3 branches.
+ Trade Union organization: Under the Hai Phong City Public Employees' Trade Union with 87 trade union members organized into 03 affiliated trade union groups.
+ Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organization: A grassroots organization under the Youth Union of the Hai Phong City Agencies bloc. The School Youth Union comprises 09 linked sub-unions and 01 sub-union for staff and teachers, with a total of over 1,000 members.
2. MISSION
Training and supplying high-quality, internationally advanced tourism human resources for the Red River Delta region and the country, meeting the requirements to develop tourism into a spearhead economic sector and to keep pace with global integration trends.
