Alongside the development of Hai Phong College of Tourism, the Culinary Arts Department has been chosen by many young people to equip themselves with knowledge and professional skills before stepping into life. Established on 23/07/2005, the teaching staff have many years of practical experience in restaurants and hotels; they teach using a vocation-analysis method that centers on the learner and are active in study and professional development. Students in the Culinary Arts Department practice in the school's workshops and at major hotels and restaurants in the city, with practical training accounting for 75% of the study time.
