     The Department of Culinary Management boasts a team of full-time lecturers who have participated in culinary training courses domestically and advanced training courses in many developed countries such as Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Malaysia, etc. The department's lecturers meet international standards in professional skills, pedagogical competence, dedication, and commitment, and have achieved very high results in national and regional competitions.

Culinary artist and lecturer Le Thi Chien - Head of the Department of Food Processing Techniques

      The Head of Department, Ms. Le Thi Chien, is known to many generations of students as a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced teacher with a strong expertise in Asian, European, and pastry cuisine. In 2018, she was recognized as a Culinary Artisan by the Vietnam Association of Traditional Craft Villages. For her, constantly researching and updating herself on new culinary trends around the world is always a joy. That joy is even greater when she imparts her knowledge and skills to her students, helping them learn proactively, creatively, develop their abilities, and hone their skills to become confident in themselves, paving the way for their future success in the culinary field.

Lecturer Do Thi Thanh Thuy - Deputy Head of Department.

      Ms. Do Thi Thanh Thuy - Deputy Head of Department. With her extensive teaching experience and friendly, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to guiding students in culinary management lectures, she helps them cultivate: creativity, problem-solving, planning, and financial management skills effectively. This will be a key factor in helping students easily find satisfying jobs and advance faster in their careers or start successful businesses after graduation. She always tells her students: "Don't let yourselves remain just cooks who only know how to make delicious food. Become a professional head chef who manages a kitchen." She also has many successful alumni holding high positions. This is a great joy and source of pride for her.

Lecturer Nguyen Thi Loan

      Mrs. Nguyen Thi Loan – a teacher with a petite and gentle appearance. No one knows that she has been involved in cooking since a very young age. With 18 years of experience in the business and nearly 10 years of teaching experience, she possesses many secrets and skills in preparing Asian dishes and pastries. Certainly, through her lectures and her dedication and enthusiasm, students will have a solid foundation for success.

Lecturer Tran Thi Ha

      Mrs. Tran Thi Ha - With a deep love for baking, she had the opportunity to participate in training courses from leading experts in the field of baking, including senior experts from the Netherlands. With determination, diligence, and a willingness to learn, she is always confident in her knowledge and skills when guiding students. For her, the students are the motivation and inspiration that keeps her passionate about her work.

      Mrs. Dang Thi Nguyet An is an expert in inspiring and decorating European dishes. With nearly 20 years of experience in European cuisine, she has confidently established herself in the culinary field. Her passion, creativity, and enthusiasm have kept her dedicated to teaching and inspiring many generations of students who share her love for European cuisine.

Lecturer Nguyen Thi Mai - former HCT student 

      Mrs. Nguyen Thi Mai is the youngest lecturer in the department. Few people know that she is also a former student of Hai Phong Tourism College. With her passion and enthusiasm for the profession, she returned to the school after a long period working at a company. Finding her own path of development, in addition to teaching culinary arts, she excels in flower arranging and artistic decoration. She always transforms simple, common fruits and vegetables into beautiful, vibrant works of art, contributing to highlighting the dishes and adding elegance, warmth, and appeal to the party space… Her lessons are always fun, creative, and full of charm.

With a vision for the development of the culinary arts in society, the lecturers in the Department also make suggestions to the School Board and regularly invite culinary experts and Head Chefs with many years of experience working in 5-star restaurants and hotels to teach, notably:

- Mr. Do Ngoc Cong - Head Chef of Hai Dang Plaza Restaurant, Hai Phong.

- Mr. Mai Quang Van - President of the Hai Phong Chefs Association - Director of the Vua Baba Dat Cang Hai Phong restaurant chain.

- Mr. Do Van Mai - Head Pastry Chef at Vinpearl Hotel Imperia Hai Phong

Our team of lecturers, experts, and head chefs, with their experience and extensive teaching expertise, not only impart knowledge, skills, and professional experience in a systematic, scientific, easy-to-understand, accurate, and practical manner, but also guide and ignite the passion of our students.

Our lecturers also constantly update and apply modern teaching methods from Lux, the British Council, Germany, etc., emphasizing high interaction and placing students at the center, aiming to help students be proactive, positive, and develop their abilities and creativity. During practical training sessions, students are assigned specific tasks and independently create products, ensuring that all students are actively engaged and not prone to procrastination or reliance on others. This allows them to quickly master skills while still studying, meeting the stringent requirements of domestic and international employers.

Our faculty actively connects students with internship opportunities, linking training to real-world situations. This helps students minimize classroom time and focus on practical application, enhancing their professional skills, developing necessary competencies, and solving real-world problems in businesses. Students may even receive remuneration from their first year of study.
